At Georgetown, I’m currently (Spring 2020) teaching Language and Computers. I’ve previously TAed Computational Corpus Linguistics (where I’ve helped build the GUM corpus) and Introduction to Natural Language Processing.
In the summers, I teach gifted 12-16-year-old students at Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY). I’ve instructed the Linguistics course in 2018 and 2019, and Fundamentals of Computer Science in 2019. Prior to instructing, I TAed both of those courses as well as Inductive and Deductive Reasoning, for 9-12-year-olds.
I’m also participating in the Apprenticeship in Teaching program at Georgetown’s Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship, where I’ve developed my teaching skills through workshops on topics such as Inclusive Pedagogy, Dynamic Lecture, and Effective Classroom Interaction.
